Terms

Booking and cancellation terms

These terms apply to every stay at Camp Ängra: pitches, the glamping tent, Stuga Wolverine, Lodge Bear, Lodge Moose and the B&B room. Camp Ängra is run by Remy & Ilse, Härjedalsvägen / Ängra 6, 827 73 Kårböle, Sweden. Last updated: October 2026.

Booking

You book by email at info@campangra.se. Please include your arrival and departure dates, the type of stay, the number of adults and children (with ages) and whether you are bringing a dog.

Your booking is confirmed once you have received our confirmation by email. For accommodation, the deposit must also have been received.

The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all guests in the party. The number of guests may not exceed the number in the confirmation or the maximum for the accommodation.

In July we rent out the glamping tent for a minimum of two nights. A pitch is booked by type, with or without electricity. We cannot guarantee a specific pitch number, but we take your wishes into account as far as possible.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK), per night and including VAT. The price in your confirmation is binding.

For the glamping tent, Stuga Wolverine, Lodge Bear, Lodge Moose and the B&B room we ask for a deposit of 50% of the price of your stay. You pay the balance on arrival. Pitches are paid in full on arrival; no deposit is required.

You can pay by card, Swish or cash. Extras such as breakfast, canoe hire and packed lunches are paid on site, unless they are included in your confirmation.

For stays of seven nights or more you get a 10% discount on the pitch or accommodation. Discounts cannot be combined.

Arrival and departure

Check-in is from 3 pm. Arriving after 8 pm? Let us know in advance and we will leave your key and a site map ready for you.

Check-out is by 11 am at the latest. If you arrive later or leave earlier than booked, you pay for the full booked stay.

Cancellation by the guest

Cancellations must be made by email. The date we receive your email counts as the cancellation date.

If you cancel accommodation, we refund the deposit as follows:

60 days or more before arrival: 100% of the deposit.

30 to 60 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit.

Less than 30 days before arrival: no refund.

You do not owe the balance if you cancel. If you do not show up without cancelling, the deposit is forfeited. Any refund is paid within 14 days of your cancellation.

You can cancel a pitch free of charge. Please let us know as early as possible so that we can offer the spot to other guests.

Want to change your booking? Let us know as early as possible. Where we can, we move your stay to other dates without the cancellation terms applying.

Bookings of accommodation for specific dates are not covered by the statutory right of withdrawal (ångerrätt). We advise our guests to take out travel and cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by Camp Ängra

If we cannot go ahead with your stay, for example due to force majeure, extreme weather, forest fire or a fault in the accommodation, we will let you know as soon as possible. You then receive a full refund of everything you have paid, or you move your stay to other dates free of charge.

We cannot offer any further compensation, for example for travel costs or accommodation elsewhere, unless required by law.

During your stay

Dogs are welcome on the campsite and in some of the accommodation; please ask when you book. On the grounds, dogs must be kept on a lead and you clean up after them.

Fires are only allowed at the shared fire pit. When a fire ban (eldningsförbud) is in force, that is not allowed either. Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation, the B&B or the sanitary building.

Please leave your accommodation tidy: washing-up done and waste sorted. Report any damage caused by you or your party straight away; we may charge the cost of repair.

Please follow the instructions of Remy & Ilse. In case of serious or repeated breaches of the rules, we may end the stay without a refund.

Liability

Your stay and the use of the facilities, the river, the canoes and the playing field are at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children, especially near the river: in some places it flows fast.

We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to your belongings, unless caused intentionally or through gross negligence on our part. Our liability never exceeds the price of your stay, unless the law provides otherwise.

Complaints

Have a complaint? Please tell us during your stay so we can sort it out straight away. If we cannot resolve it together, you can submit your complaint to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), www.arn.se. These terms are governed by Swedish law.
