The Ängraån is a clear forest river with trout and grayling. Fish from the bank or wade into the rapids. We'll help you get a fishing licence and tell you where they're biting.

Canoeing
Glide over mirror-smooth water between reeds and pine forest. All you hear is your paddle. Canoes are for rent, and we'll suggest routes for an hour or a whole day.
ALL YEAR
Hiking
Trails over moss and rock, past lakes and through old pine forest. We have maps with short and long routes starting at the campsite.
EARLY OR LATE
Wildlife spotting
Beavers at dusk, a hawk on a pine branch, moose tracks in the sand. If you're quiet, you'll see a lot. Ask us for the best spots.
JUNE – AUGUST
Swimming
The water is soft and brownish from the peat, and surprisingly pleasant in summer. Off the jetty, cool down, dry off in the sun.
MAY – OCTOBER
Cycling
Quiet gravel roads without traffic, through forest and along lakes. You're more likely to meet a moose than a car.

Exploring Hälsingland
Visit the painted farmhouses of Hälsingland, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Or stroll around a local market and an old church. We're happy to give you tips.

Scenic drives
Winding roads along rivers, viewpoints over endless forests. Perfect for an afternoon drive with the windows down.
AUTUMN & WINTER
Every season is different
In autumn the forest turns yellow and red and you go mushroom picking. In winter there's snow, cross-country skiing and, with some luck, the northern lights.
