Hej hej,

Eighteen years ago we got our first taste of Scandinavia on a holiday to Norway. We were sold from the very first moment. The vast forests, the impressive nature, the peace and the space touched something in us that was hard to put into words. It felt like coming home to a place we had never been before.

Since then we have returned to the north again and again. Over the years our love for Scandinavia only grew. Even our children’s names carry a small piece of that love.

In the summer of 2026 we travelled to Sweden once more. It was meant to be a lovely holiday, enjoying everything that makes Swedish outdoor life so special. We had no idea this trip would change our lives for good.

By chance we discovered Camp Ängra, a beautiful place in the middle of Swedish nature. When we heard the campsite was for sale, something special happened. Sometimes something crosses your path that you just can’t let go of. A place that touches your heart straight away. That is exactly how we felt here.

Camp Ängra stole our hearts. The silence, the endless forests, the clear lakes, the space and the sense of freedom make this place truly special to us. It is a place where you can slow down, breathe and reconnect with nature.

That is an experience we would love to share. We hope everyone who visits Camp Ängra gets to feel a little of that same feeling. Whether you come to spot wildlife, take beautiful photos, hike through the vast countryside or simply unwind completely, you are very welcome.

We look forward to letting our guests enjoy everything this special place has to offer. And although we don’t yet know exactly what this adventure will bring, we know one thing for sure: we can’t wait to make something beautiful of it together.
